Sunday, May 31 | Afternoon Session at AperitivoMackenzie Brisbois is one of the most exciting winemakers working in Ontario today — and one of the least conventional. Raised in Prince Edward County, she took the helm at Trail Estate in 2015 and has spent the years since pushing the boundaries of what Ontario wine can be. Her work pioneering skin-fermented whites helped change the regulatory landscape for orange wine in the province entirely.
We’ll be pouring three wines that tell her story.
• The Experience: A relaxed afternoon of discovery, featured pours, and seasonal bites from the Aperitivo kitchen.
• The Focus: Natural winemaking, minimal intervention, and the wines that are putting Ontario on the global map.
